With the retrospective exhibition Gerhard Richter: Panorama, in 2012 Berlin’s Nationalgalerie presented a comprehensive show of the painterly oeuvre of one of the most important artists today in the upper hall of Neue Nationalgalerie. Around 130 paintings and five sculptures that were selected in close collaboration with the artist, giving insight into a complex oeuvre that developed across five decades.
